Lan Ha Bay 2 Days 1 Night – Where Nature Meets Serenity

Day 1: Hanoi / Ninh Binh – Lan Ha Bay – Bioluminescent Night Kayak (L, D)

07:00 Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (if bus service is booked) and depart for Cat Ba Island. We’ll make short rest stops along the way.

10:45 Arrive in Hai Phong City, then take a ferry to Cat Ba Island and continue by road to Ben Beo Pier.

11:15 Arrive at Ben Beo Pier. Our guide will provide your entrance tickets for Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay (included in the tour).

11:20 Board the boat and begin cruising through the magnificent Lan Ha Bay. Pass by Cai Beo Fishing Village—one of the oldest and most traditional floating villages in Northern Vietnam—and sail among hundreds of limestone karsts shaped like chopsticks, seals, and more.

12:00 Enjoy a freshly prepared Vietnamese lunch onboard, lovingly cooked by our local crew (vegetarian options available). Dine while admiring the stunning views of the bay.

14:30 Explore the tranquil lagoon area of Lan Ha Bay by kayak. Paddle through the Dark and Bright Caves, natural tunnels, and archways. This is one of the most beautiful and ecologically protected areas of the bay. If you’re lucky, you may spot the rare Cat Ba Langur (Golden-headed monkey).

15:30 Continue cruising southward through the untouched areas of Ha Long Bay.

16:30 Stop at Ba Trai Dao Beach for swimming and jumping from the boat. This quiet, less-touristy beach is perfect for discovering hidden lagoons and rock arches.

17:30 Visit a local floating fish farm to learn how fishermen live and work on the water. Join a cooking class onboard and learn to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes. Dinner will be served afterward on the boat.

19:30 After sunset, join our guide for an unforgettable night kayaking session among glowing bioluminescent plankton. You can also swim under the stars and watch your silhouette sparkle in the dark water.

20:00 Arrive at Viet Hai Village, a small community nestled deep in Cat Ba National Park, surrounded by jungle and limestone mountains. Enjoy a peaceful night in this serene natural setting.

Day 2: Viet Hai Village – Monkey Island – Return (B, L)

06:30 Enjoy a hearty breakfast at our restaurant.

07:30 Hop on a bicycle and explore Viet Hai Village. Breathe in the fresh mountain air, admire the scenic landscapes, and try a fun fish massage in the natural stream.

08:30 Check out of your room and return to Viet Hai Pier. Continue cruising toward Monkey Island.

09:30 Arrive at Monkey Island. Relax and swim on the sandy beach, interact with the playful monkeys, or take a short trek to the island’s viewpoint for panoramic views of Lan Ha Bay.

10:30 Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard while the boat heads back to the harbor.

11:30 Arrive at Cai Beo Harbor. Transfer back to Hanoi or Ninh Binh by bus.

17:00 – 17:30 Arrive in Hanoi Old Quarter or Ninh Binh. Tour ends!
